Notable achievements include the 1996 Biloxi Outstanding Citizen award, 1985 First Lady of Biloxi recognition, 1986 Biloxi Mother of the Year title, 1998 Keys to the City of Biloxi honor, 1993 American Tobacco Company First Lady Award, The Sun Herald South Mississippi’s Outstanding Community Leaders Class of 2010 recognition, Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Pat Santucci Spirit of the Gulf Coast Award, American Red Cross 2016 Humanitarian of the Year distinction, and the MGCCC Sam Owen Award 2019 Homecoming Honoree recognition.
